Our Expert Eyes Notice Problems You Do Not See
Below are some photos of problems that
we noticed on trucks that were built by other upfitters whose technicians
were not trained to look out for potential problem areas that could
lead to a fire or vehicle downtime.
We have quality, trained technicians to service and inspect your truck. If
you want your truck inspected for problems or safety issues, give
us a call.
We will give you direction and assistance, or at the very least, point
you in the direction of someone who can help.
Improperly Installed A/C Condenser
 This
photo shows an A/C condenser that has no protection from dirt and
rocks thrown from tires.
This could lead to truck downtime if you
get a hole or obstruction. The solution is to install a splash shield.
Secondly,
there is no vent installed to redirect hot air off the asphalt
during summer months. This
causes all types of A.C. problems, such as high head pressures on
the system.

Improperly Installed Exhaust System
 This
photo shows an exhaust system installed too close to the doorway.
Carbon
Monoxide gases could enter the cab and cause nausia or breathing
problems.
 The
tailpipe should be 3 feet from the door or on the other side of the
truck.
This photo shows the
exhaust moved to the rear of the vehicle.
Improperly Installed Furnace Vent
 This
photo shows what can happen when the furnace vent is installed too
close to the shoreline.
The orange arrow shows a mark where the
electric cord got too hot from the furnace air and melted into the
side of the truck. A fire hazard waiting to happen.
